These programs emphasize basic skills such as reading, writing, math, English language competency, and problem-solving.

SNAP (food Stamps) provides a monthly benefit to help individuals and families buy food and food products, such as seeds, and plants to grow food. This is a monthly benefit and is loaded to an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card.

Therapy is designed to support youth in finding a resolution to concerns regarding their mental health, enhance greater self-understanding and acceptance, and develop effective means to cope with such issues in their daily lives.

Demand Transportation provides Wyandotte County residents that are 65 years of age and older with transportation to medical appointments.

Provides $1000 college, university or technical school scholarships (per semester) to single mothers and single fathers to help pay expenses they may incur while pursuing a full-time, career-oriented education. Merit scholarship of $250 are given to those recipients achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the semester.

Women are eligible for: -Must be uninsured -Approved methods of contraception -STD testing and treatment, including pap tests and pelvic exams -Family planning, counseling, and birth control education -Drugs, supplies or devices for above services

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for propane, wood and natural gas assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.
