The purpose of the MO HealthNet program is to provide medical services to persons who meet certain eligibility requirements as determined by FSD. The goals of the MO HealthNet program are to promote good health, to prevent illness and premature death, to correct or limit disability, to treat illness, and to provide rehabilitation to persons with disabilities. Eligible persons receive a "MO HealthNet Identification Card" or a letter from the local FSD office. The Family Support Division (FSD) determines client eligibility for the MO HealthNet program: the MO HealthNet Division administers the MO HealthNet program including establishment of benefit coverage, rates, claims processing, and all other aspects of daily operations.

MoRx was created by the 93rd General Assembly to coordinate benefits with Medicare's (Part D) Prescription Drug Program, and to provide additional assistance for prescription drug costs to Missourians in need. MoRx pays for 50% of members' out of pocket costs remaining after their Medicare Prescription Drug Plan pays. It pays for 50% of the deductible, 50% of the co-pays before the coverage gap, 50% of the coverage gap, and 50% of co-pays in the catastrophic coverage. MoRx does not pay for the Medicare Part D Plan's monthly premium. MoRx uses the formulary of the Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Any drug covered by a member's Medicare Drug Plan will also be covered by the MoRx plan. MoRx works with all Medicare Prescription Drug Plans. Dual eligible members will continue to have coverage for Medicare-excluded drugs through MO HealthNet. Medicare-excluded drugs include specific over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, minerals, limited cough and cold drugs, benzodiazepines and barbiturates as they are currently covered by MO HealthNet, as noted on the MO HealthNet Division Pharmacy pages. Extra help with paying for Medicare Part D costs is available from the Social Security Administration (SSA) for individuals with low income and limited assets. All dual eligibles automatically qualify for the extra help in paying for their premiums and co-pays. Other individuals may submit an application for extra help to the SSA.

Supported Employment: A program designed to meet the employment needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. The components involved are discovery and exploration, job development, job coaching and long-term retention.

Congregate meal for seniors

Food Stamp Program: Each participating household receives a Missouri Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card to purchase any food and food products including seeds and plants to grow food. The SkillUP Program: Offers Food Stamp recipients in Missouri the opportunity to gain skills, training and work experience.

Women are eligible for: -Must be uninsured -Approved methods of contraception -STD testing and treatment, including pap tests and pelvic exams -Family planning, counseling, and birth control education -Drugs, supplies or devices for above services

4-H Program: Focuses on young people making new friends and memories while preparing to be future leaders.

Provides information and moral support to individuals who are chemically dependent and wish to be free from drug usage. This is a 12 step program.

Support group offered for parents, grandparents and other family members that have experienced a miscarriage, stillbirth, or early infant death. Meetings conducted by Darline Grebe, LCSW. Can contact Generations office or social service office.

The Missouri Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) Program provides assistance that helps Missouri adults get the basic skills they need to be productive workers, family members, and citizens. The major areas of support are Adult Basic Education, Adult Secondary Education, and English Language Acquisition. These programs emphasize basic skills such as reading, writing, math, English language competency, and problem-solving.

Responsible for the control and extinction of fires in urban or wilderness areas.

The Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program offers blood lead testing at their office.

The Home Repair Program provides assistance to very-low income households with home repairs that would pose a health and/or safety issue for the homeowner and the community. Eligible conditions include barrier removal.
