Reports are received through a toll-free telephone line which is answered seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Any person may report, and anonymous reports are accepted from individuals who are not mandated by occupation to report. Calls of concern can be made to each county office. Instructions may be given for the reporter to call the toll free number of the CA/NHU for the call to be made into a formal report.

Adult Outpatient Progressive Partial Hospitalization Program (PPHP): helps patients improve functioning and prevent relapses associated with chronic mental illness through group therapy and medication management for adults with a mental illness, dual diagnosis or substance abuse problem. Program is five days a week. Also, offers transportation to those in the program who reside within a 40 mile radius.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians provide classes to educate on child passenger seat safety and installation. Once the individual attends and completes the instructional class they will receive a convertible safety seat for their child which can be used until the child reaches the maximum weight defined on the seat. When available, booster seat classes are also held for parents and grandparents who reside in Bates County.

Transition Services helps high school students with disabilities visualize and plan for their future. A Future Planning team works with each student to plan, seek out resources and make decisions that help build a path to their future and achieve their goals. Students may continue to build on independent living skills, pursue a higher education, and/or seek out competitive employment opportunities.
