The Raytown Water Company is a public utility, striving to provide safe and adequate water service for our customers. Two separate water companies serve the Raytown area. They are the Raytown Water Company, and the Public Water District #2.

Provides information and guidance for people who may qualify for Medicare to empower them to make informed choices. Services include but are not limited too information about the eligibility requirements for Medicare, assistance with applying, benefits and more.

Provides a wide range of services, programs, and collections to encourage lifelong learning.

Responsible for coordinating governmental offices during natural and man-made disasters and for the coordination of emergency management activities including planning, preparedness, response and recovery.

Case Managers will explore areas with the participant include employment and education, budgeting, nutrition, household management, parenting, personal growth and development, literacy guidance, and referrals to other community resources as needed in order to move the client towards self-sufficiency.

Psychiatric rehabilitation

Provides a 24-hour suicide prevention hotline.

Accepts donations such as office supplies that are not in need of repair, a donation pick-up service is not available.

Serves as a natural gas provider.

Preschool hearing screening and follow-up provided. Also, hearing screening for adults with referrals.

Provides impartial third party assistance to help facilitate discussion to resolve work related disputes.

The Healing House Community Outreach Center phone and computer access.

Good Samaritan Center of Excelsior Springs provides dog food through the food pantry for those in need.

Non - Emergency Medical Transportation - providing transportation services to and from scheduled Missouri Health Net Covered Services

Temporary Assistance for Needy Families: Provides benefits to families with needy children (due to death, desertion, mental, physical problems or unemployment).

Provides CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) training.

Women's health care provided including well-women exams, Pap tests and family planning.

Provides reduced-cost or free mammograms, breast exams and pap test for eligible Missouri women.

Accepts a variety of donations that are not in need of repair, such as clothing, hygiene/personal grooming supplies, shoes, socks, sports equipment, underwear, furniture, school supplies, toys, and bedding/linens; donations are not sold as a way to earn money for the program; a donation pick-up service is not available.

Delivery of meals to frail, homebound elderly. Meals are generally frozen and 7 days of meals are delivered once a week. In some cases up to two meals per each day.

• Community Supports for Independence Program: Begins with an independent living skills assessment that allows the team to customize supports to increase skills in areas of need. Goal of the program is to support the participants with achieving their goal to live independently within two years. The program allows individuals with developmental disabilities the opportunity to gain skills and build their natural supports over the course of two years.

• Transitional In-Home Program: Serves individuals who have acquired brain injury or head trauma after the age of 22 years. Participants are assigned to a service coordinator through the Department of Health. The service includes training and practice with activities related to daily living and maintenance of a household.
