Diabetes Care: Partners with Joslin Diabetes Center Affiliate ensuring individuals with diabetes get state-of-the-art medical care, patient education and aggressive prevention and management of complications. Comprehensive services includes intensive diabetes care and management, physician consultation, medication management, insulin pump therapy self-care/self-management and individual education.

Legal Aid of Western Missouri provides free legal representation and counsel to disadvantaged seniors and low-income residents in civil (non-criminal) matters. Legal Aid has a limited capacity for cases due to capacity, so assistance may be limited at this time. Eviction assistance outside of RTC or Section 8 is not available. If the client is faced with a court eviction within the city limits of Kansas City, please have them complete a RTC application through 211. If the client is experiencing a voucher termination or an eviction of their Section 8 housing, they can contact Legal Aid to do an application for assistance.

DHSS, in coordination with the Missouri National Guard and local health departments, are offering free COVID-19 tests in various communities around the state.

Support Groups: Sponsors three support groups including Traumatic Brain Injury, Parkinson's and Multiple Sclerosis.
