Justice in the Schools operates legal clinics out of several schools within the Kansas City Public School System and the Hickman Mills District to help students and their families with civil legal issues that negatively affect school attendance and performance. The clinic provides free civil legal representation and counsel for matters such as family law, healthcare, public benefits, federal benefits, and consumer matters.

Programs are available to help people who are blind or who have visual impairments develop the fundamental spatial concepts and skills necessary for mobility and independence.

• Advanced Personal Care: Assists with routine personal care of clients with ostomies (tracheostomies, gastrostomies, and colostomies.) Personal care of persons with external, in dwelling and suprapubic catheters, administration of perscribed bowel program, application of medicated (prescriptions) lotions, ointments, or dry aseptic dressings to unbroken skin including Stage 1 decubitus ulcers, application of aseptic dressings to superficial skin breaks or abrasions, manual assistance with non-injectable medications, passive range of motion and use of assistive device for transfers.

• Personal Care Services: Assists with planning, preparation and clean up of meals, making beds and changing linens, brushing, combing and shampooing cleints hair, brushing teeth and cleaning dentures, cleaning and cutting nails of clients without contradictioning conditions, assisting the client with transfers when the client is weight bearing and shopping for groceries or household items specifically required for the health and maintenance of the client.

Provides partial hospitalization and outpatient treatment for adults and adolescents who experience psychiatric disorders that do not need inpatient hospitalization.
