RideKC Freedom is a complementary paratransit program that provides ADA paratransit services to those 65+ and living with a disability throughout the Kansas City region. Paratransit service is an origin to destination, shared ride, advanced reservation public transportation service.

Pathways provides comprehensive mental health and substance abuse treatment and prevention services to pre-adolescent children through older adult populations. Also provides mental health diagnostic screenings.

Provides home modifications that increase accessibility.

Delivers preventive and primary care services to patients regardless of their ability to pay.

Provides identity theft case mitigation at no charge and consumer education.

Utility Assistance: Provides assistance to low-income individuals for propane, wood and natural gas assistance. Partial payments are made to avoid utility cut-offs.

Adult First Aid/CPR/AED Training through the American Red Cross.

Provides a cooling site during extreme heat conditions.

General services provided for members; reading rooms, bulletin of new books and book circulation privileges.

Northwest Missouri Area Agency on Aging was created in 1973, as a result of the Older Americans Act. The changed their name to Young at Heart Resources in 2020. Services include Information and Assistance, Benefits Counseling, Congregate and Home Delivered Meals, Transportation, Long Term Care Ombudsman and Family Caregiver Programs and many other services for older adults who are at least 60 years of age.

CareLink Connect: Provides home health patients with a small personal help button to reach a nurse in case of a fall, emergency or sudden illness.
