Radio Reading Service provides closed-circuit radio broadcast reading newspapers, magazines and books; patron must have a special "crystal-tuned" radio to pick up the signal; only available if you live within approx. 35 miles of the radio station that carries the signal (KCUR-FM in the Kansas City Metro area and KXCV in Maryville/Chillicothe area, as well as KSMU in Springfield MO; all programming is available on the website http://reader.ku.edu/listen.
