Training may be conducted at the MCHS Care Partner Training Environment, a 1,500 square foot home simulation complete with bedroom, kitchen, and living room located in St. Louis, MO. The model home provides real-life applications of MCHS methods and strategies. Initial consultations in the MCHS training environment can provide a safe space for family members to speak confidentially about the strains of caregiving without their loved one present. This facility is designed to display strategies and assistive devices to care partners.â€Â¯ In addition, MCHS provides training and education to the community and senior service and healthcare professionals. Thisâ€Â¯includesâ€Â¯training workshops and health fairs in the community where current and future family care partners participateâ€Â¯and continuing educationâ€Â¯in collaboration with area health systems and residential facilities to provide training in caregiving techniques to medical professionals.â€Â¯

The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Missour HELPline 1-800-374-2138 provides support, education and advocacty for children and adults with psychiatric illness/brain disorders and their families.

• Wellness Classes: Groups of 12 people with Parkinson's disease and their care partners meet weekly for six weeks to learn how to develop skills and confidence in managing everyday activities and relationships that may be challenging.

• PD101: Hour long introductory course with our executive director outlining what Parkinson disease is and the resource available in our community. Designed for people newly diagnosed (~1 year) with Parkinson's.
• Parkinson Education Programs (PEP): Seminars held 3-4 times per year on a specific Parkinson-disease related topic. PEP meetings usually last 2-3 hours and are open to anyone affected by Parkinson's, including those with the disease, their care partners, families or healthcare providers
• Family Conference: Usually held once a year, this conference is designed specifically for family members of someone with Parkinson's and addresses the unique situations that these people may encounter, lengths varies, 2-5 hours.

Community Education Training: Provides presentations to the community about developmental disabilities to help people understand and identify the behaviors associated with autism and other disabilities.

Community Education: Speakers for community members on issues of emotional, physical and sexual abuse.

Directs pre-collegiate programs on citizenship and voting in high schools/middle schools and adult programs across the state of Missouri, serves as the home office for Kids Voting Missouri.
