Missouri Assistive Technology operates the Equipment Technology Consortium (ETC) which is a short-term assistive technology equipment loan program for school districts and agencies in Missouri. Districts or agencies can borrow equipment on behalf of individuals with disabilities to try out the equipment before purchasing, for use during the time equipment is in repair, or for other short-term needs. Districts or agencies can borrow equipment for up to six weeks. The program includes a wide range of equipment including switches and mounts, computer access devices, environmental controls, hearing devices, home modifications, visual aids and augmentative communication devices.
Product demonstrations are given for proper use of equipment.
