Eligibility
- Must complete home buyer education and one-on-one counseling with a Homeownership Ready status
- Must have at least $1,000 of own funds
- Household income must not exceed 80% median income
- Must secure a fixed rate mortgage on the purchased home

Community Action Agency administers emergency and crisis intervention services to assist low-income people out of poverty conditions. Services include food pantries, farmers markets, food production support services, weatherization, housing down payment loans/grants, electric, gas, heating fuel and water assistance, ex-offender reentry program, GED/High School equivalency test instruction, school supplies, certified application counselor program, job readiness, case/care management, leadership development, life skills education, youth enrichment programs, anger management, substance use disorder education/prevention, individual development accounts, extreme weather centers and post disaster cash grants.
