Family is experiencing homelessness and has been identified as eligible by the McKinney Vento Liaison in the Wyandotte County public schools (Piper, Turner, Bonner, KCKPS) or in the Kansas City, MO Public and Charter Schools.

Call your student's school and speak to their McKinney Vento Liaison to see if you qualify for a referral into the Avenue of life student focused programs.

Avenue of Life offers three programs for families experiencing homelessness. The Impact KCK program works with families that have a child in any Wyandotte County, KS public school.The Impact KCMO works with families that have a child in Kansas City, MO Public Schools. Impact KCMO works with families that have a child in KCMO Charter Schools or early childhood programs. Impact MO works with families that have a child in KCMO early childhood programs. Programs require referral from McKinney Vento Liaison at student's school or trained case manager in Impact MO program.

Avenue of Life's Equipping Center program offers a community food pantry, clothing closet, Happy Bottoms diapers, and case management for qualifying families. Avenue of Life provides intensive case management for qualifying families experiencing homelessness in Wyandotte County public schools and Kansas City, MO Public and Charter Schools (case management requires referral from the McKinney Vento Liaison at the child's school).
