Eligibility
Must be a US Citizen, US National, Legal Permanent Resident or a lawfully present immigrant and meet income guidelines to be eligible for the Marketplace. For MO Medicaid, must be MO Resident, US Citizen or Legal Permanent Resident for more than 5 years and meet income guidelines. However, some pregnant people may qualify for Show Me Healthy Babies coverage if they are not US Citizens or a lawfully present immigrant.
Required documents
To apply for Marketplace consumers must bring: Social Security numbers
dates of birth
employment and income information such as recent pay stubs or a copy of their most recent federal tax return
proof of eligible immigration status (Permanent Resident Cards
or Certificate of Citizenship or Naturalization
or Form I-94 etc..) and information on any offer of health insurance anyone in the household receives from a job.
To apply for MO Medicaid (MOHealthNet/CHIP) we need photo ID's for any adults in the household
birth certificates for children, if born outside of MO
Social Security numbers

recent pay stubs for the last 30 days for anyone who works
and proof of eligible immigration status (Permanent Resident Cards or Certificates of Citizenship or Naturalization).
