Provides child abuse prevention, nutrition education, certified application counselor programs, pregnancy testing, breast feeding support programs, childbirth education, job readiness, teen expectant new parent assistance, parenting skills classes, life skills education, anger management, and alcohol use disorder education and prevention.

Missouri Bootheel Healthy Start works to reduce infant mortality and to improve the health and well-being of infants, mothers, fathers, and families in Scott, Mississippi, New Madrid, Pemiscot, and Dunklin Counties. This is accomplished through in-home case management services, outreach, education and training, and community mobilization services for consumers and providers in the project area.
