General Mental Health Information/Education | City Of Lee's Summit - Police Dept Crisis Intervention Team

Municipal police department delivers mental health services to those suffering from mental illness. CIT officers are trained in medication management and identification, de-escalation techniques, police suicide and suicide by cop, family and consumer panels, cultural diversity, etc. The CIT officers wear a special pin which indicates they have received this training.
