Provides home and community-based supports, programs and services, including advocacy and resources, that allow people with disabilities to choose how and where they live in their community in the least restrictive environment. Services include bathroom modification services, kitchen modification services, ramp construction services, protection and advocacy for individuals with disabilities, assistive technology equipment loan, assistive technology information, disease/disability information, centers for independent living, independent living skills instruction, attendant services for people with disabilities, benefits screening arts and crafts instruction, health/disability related support groups, social clubs/events, special interest clubs, peer counseling, building materials/supplies donation programs, daily living aid donation programs, walking aid donation programs, and wheelchair donation programs.
