Receives and disperses tax dollars at the county level for the support of individuals with developmental disabilities. Provides targeted case management services for those individuals. This service is provided by a service coordinator employed by Washington County Senate Bill 40 Board. A service coordinator or case manager as they are sometimes referred to, is the person responsible to assist individuals with developmental disability in assessing the need for and finding resources and services to assist in being successful in life and community.
