The Bureau of Cancer and Chronic Disease Prevention houses several statewide programs in an effort to assess and reduce the burden of cancer, heart disease, stroke, diabetes, arthritis, osteoporosis, asthma, and other chronic disease. The Bureau also houses the Missouri Organ and Tissue Donation program and provides breast examinations, mammograms and pap tests.
