Provide supportive services for aging, or disabled people, including information, referral, and in-home services. These services and opportunities primarily target older adults, people with disabilities, low-income families, and other residents who require assistance. Sliding scale fee programs for elders includes housekeeping, personal care, respite care, medication management, and a donation-based Meals on Wheels program. Limited funding for meals and housekeeping services for individuals with disabilities under age 60. Department offers Section 8 housing services, minor home rehabilitation, and utility assistance.
