Eligibility
Recent trauma exposure and Acute Stress Reaction OR people suspected to have Acute Stress Disorder (ASD) or Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Can be civilian or veteran family member.
Required documents
Please bring with you, if applicable, a photo ID, insurance card, guardianship paperwork, and birth certificate (for minors). For more information, call 816.404.5709 Monday through Friday from 8am – 5pm.

Arabic, Somali and Spanish. Phone-based interpreter services are available for other languages. American sign language.
Application process
Walk-in care is available Monday through Friday from 8am – 12 pm A master's-level mental health professional will meet with you and help you get the care you need. Each person who utilizes walk-in hours will be assessed and connected to appropriate services.
Fees
Medicaid, Medicare and most types of commercial insurance. Flat fee for services, also accepts Truman discount.

Recent trauma exposure and Acute Stress Reaction (ASR) OR individuals - veteran, post military or civilian - who have or are suspected to have Acute Stress Disorder (ASD), Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) or Post-Incarceration Syndrome for ex-offenders AND are requesting counseling to address past trauma.
