MCSP organizes several weekly cost-free neighborhood cleanups that include litter and debris collection, graffiti removal, and additional assistance to the community. However, MCSP is more than just a litter abatement community service program. MCSP also provides opportunities for its clients to assist local governments, nonprofits, and faith-based charities. MCSP utilizes select nonprofit organizations which are referred to as worksites to fulfill court-ordered community service hours.

KANSAS CITY METROPOLITAN CRIME COMMISSION
The Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission is a non-profit citizen's organization that is a parent organization for four main programs for the KC Metro area. The Metropolitan Community Service Program (MCSP) is a court-ordered community service referrals program. The Second Chance programs helps those who were in jail or prison reenter the KC area. Crime stoppers in a Tips Hotline that allows people to anonymously report crime in the area. S.A.F.E. (Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment Fund) provides financial assistance to surviving spouses and dependents of law enforcement officers, firefighters, and emergency services personnel who lose their life in performance of their duties.
