Eligibility
Demonstrated financial need. Resident of Missouri or Kansas.
Have not had an eye exam or glasses from any other clinic in the past year. Have not met your lifetime cap of 4 eye exams or 4 eyeglasses at KCFEC. 100% free care is offered to homeless individuals or those living in short-term housing (support letter needed). For others, a contribution of $30-$45 is requested to help cover the cost of your services.
Replacements for broken glasses will incur a cost of $15-$20.
Required documents
Photo ID, proof of address w/in last 30 days (or homeless letter), proof of income (if no income bring notarized letter with address and phone number signed by a support person)
